This December, slow down, get your hands dirty, and reconnect with nature — together! Join us at Edible Garden City’s Grow Your Own Microgreens: Family Edition, a hands-on family experience designed for curious minds aged 7 and up. Perfect for parents, grandparents, and kids alike, this session invites families to explore, learn, and grow side by side in our lush Queenstown urban farm.
1-Hour Microgreens Workshop
Under gentle guidance, families learn how to grow your very own nutritious microgreens - the tiny but mighty greens packed with flavour and nutrients!
Budding farmers of all ages will:
- Discover what makes microgreens so special
- Learn how to sow, water, and care for them at home
- Bring home their very own microgreen punnets to nurture and harvest a mere 2 weeks later
30-Minute Guided Farm Tour (2 Stations)
Take a sensory stroll through our Sensory Garden, where you’ll see, smell, and taste herbs and edible plants. Then, visit our Vermicomposting Station to meet the farm’s helpful worms and learn how they transform food waste into nutrient-rich compost!

There’s something special about watching your child’s eyes light up as they plant a seed, or discovering the earthy scent of compost together. It’s a day of laughter, learning, and meaningful connection with nature and each other.

This tour is suitable for those aged 7 and up. All attendees regardless of age require a ticket. Please note that the tour will be conducted in English.

1. All workshop tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
2. Any exchange of workshop dates or participant names will be considered on case-by-case basis. Participants should inform us of any proposed changes at hello@ediblegardencity.com at least 3 days before the actual day of the workshop.
3. In the case of no-show, late attendance or early departure, no refund, replacement, make-up or exchange will be made.
4. This workshop might be cancelled if the minimum pax requirement is not reached. In that event, you will be notified one day before the stipulated workshop date via email.
