Circular Landscape Design
Mushroom Waste to New Life
As a new addition to our landscaping approach, we're progressively introducing spent mushroom-growing blocks from a local mushroom farm into our gardens, repurposing them as natural edging along garden paths. Under suitable shaded and humid conditions, the blocks may produce another flush of mushrooms. As they gradually decompose, they can be returned to planting areas as organic mulch, contributing to soil organic matter and supporting soil life.
